| Winter driving...ice
and snow...slipping and sliding...dings and dents. Although your
vehicle's ABS and traction control may be working overtime
restricting your progress to the traction available from its
all-season tires, with months of winter driving still ahead,
isn't there a better way? Dunlop SP Winter Sport and Grandtrek WT M2 Performance Winter tires combine responsive handling with the ability to grip snow. Their rubber compounds remain flexible in cold temperatures while their tread designs bite into snow, as well as maintain exceptional dry and wet road traction. Dunlop Graspic DS-2 and Grandtrek SJ-series Studless Ice Snow winter tires feature advanced rubber compounds that help deliver predictable grip and performance without the use of studs. Dunlop. Drivers Know. |
| The SP Winter Sport 3D utilizes Dunlop's new reactive silica mixing process to enable its tread compound to provide high elasticity at low temperatures resulting in dependable grip in winter driving conditions. This compound is molded into a directional tread design that reduces the chances of hydroplaning and helps maintain good traction on wet and slush-covered roads. Three different types of high-density sipes define three distinct traction zones in one tire. The central tread blocks features "pulling" sipes to provide traction while accelerating and braking, especially on ice and snow. The intermediate blocks use high-amplitude sipes to enhanced lateral stability and control in wet and slushy conditions. And finally, the 3D sipes in the shoulder blocks interlock to increase dry road stability and handling while continuing to offer the flexibility necessary to grip snow and ice. The SP Winter Sport 3D tire's structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by Dunlop's JointLess Band (JLB) of nylon to optimize the contact patch and minimize tire growth at high speed. |
| Many sports cars, coupes and sedans come
from the factory equipped with low profile tires mounted
on the large diameter alloy wheels needed to clear their
big brakes. The Dunlop SP Winter Sport M2 was developed
so the drivers of these cars could retain their
vehicle's original wheel diameters while blending dry
road performance with snow traction. The SP Winter Sport
M2 is Porsche-approved for 100% of their current
vehicles' winter tire needs, and factory-recommended for
use on the sport models from Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz
Volkswagen and others. The SP Winter Sport M2 is
engineered to deliver performance and traction whether
the road is ice & snow covered or not. The SP Winter Sport M2 features a directional tread design to help maintain good traction on wet and slush covered roads while its high-density lateral zig-zag sipes and independent tread blocks provide the edges to help bite through snow. The SP Sport is a tire for the performance car drivers who need snow and ice traction and want to retain as much dry road responsiveness and handling as possible. |
| Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 and SP Winter
Sport M3 DSST (Dunlop Self-Supporting Technology
run-flat tires) are Performance Winter tires that were
developed to blend dry road performance with snow
traction. They are sized for sports cars, coupes and
sedans that come from the factory equipped with low
profile tires mounted on large diameter alloy wheels and
are engineered to deliver performance and traction
whether the road is snow-covered or not.
Both versions of the SP Winter Sport M3 feature a silica based tread compound that remains pliable in cold temperatures. Using Dunlop V-Technology, this compound is molded into a directional tread design that helps maintain good traction on wet and slush-covered roads while its high-density lateral zigzag sipes and independent tread blocks provide the edges to help bite into snow. |

| Graspic DS-2 studless winter tires feature a glass fiber-reinforced, high silica tread compound molded into a heavily zigzag siped, low void, symmetric tread design with a wide, central snow pillar groove to provide traction on ice and in snow without resorting to traditional metal studs. The Graspic DS-2 studless winter tire's tread groove optimization, high contact area and twin center ribs reduce tread noise while enhancing tread life and maintaining continuous rubber-to-road contact. |

directional tread design to help maintain good traction
on wet and slush-covered roads while its high-density
lateral zigzag sipes and independent tread blocks
provide the edges to help bite through snow. The
Grandtrek WT M2 is a tire for the performance sport
utility vehicle drivers who want to combine snow
traction with dry road responsiveness and handling. The Dunlop Grandtrek WT M2 winter radials meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the snowflake-on-the-mountain symbol. |

| The Grandtrek SJ5 is Dunlop's Studless
Ice and Snow Winter tire developed for pickup trucks and
sport utility vehicles. The Grandtrek SJ5 is designed to
provide strong grip in winter weather conditions The Grandtrek SJ5 molds Dunlop's special glass fiber-reinforced compound into a directional tread design to disperse water to help reduce the risk of slipping on packed snow and ice, enhance vehicle stability on dry roads, as well as maintain good traction on wet and slush-covered roads. Zigzag grooves create strong snow packing pillars to enhance acceleration and braking while independent tread blocks provide the edges to help bite through snow. |
| The Grandtrek SJ6 molds a special glass fiber-reinforced compound into a directional tread design with a wide footprint to help disperse water to reduce the risk of slipping on packed snow and ice, enhance vehicle stability on dry roads, as well as help maintain good traction on wet and slush-covered roads. Twin central zigzag grooves create strong snow packing pillars to provide powerful acceleration and braking while independent tread blocks provide the edges to help bite through snow. |
